The materials and supplies that I am requesting for this project will assist my student in expressing their needs, develop healthy coping skills and develop feelings of belonging. New students at my school feel that they do not belong to the school and feel not loved. Other students who have exhibited anxiety symptoms due to their return to school, so the soft blanket and the books will support my students in understanding their emotions and feel welcomed in my office using those materials. These tools will support me to provide a better assessment to my students to identify a best working plan for them. I think my students would love to have a welcome office in which they feel understood, trusted and have a room where they can have discussions about their feelings and develop healthy coping skills.
