These books are gateways to other worlds. So many students do not have access to literature that can expand their horizons. By making a lending library in my classroom, I hope to help students explore their interests and teach them that reading can be fun and exciting. Students will be able to take a book out from this library with matching guiding questions to use if they want to get extra credit in ELA for reading beyond the requirements. This way, I can also see what they're interested in and how I can help to encourage them!
