    Thank you for your generosity! This year has been specially tough for our kids and their families. A little holiday celebration brings smiles on their faces. We use pre-packed snack packs often in my class as a form of reward as our kids work hard. My special needs students come from shelters and temporary housing. They do not have the appropriate books and tools to help them with their learning needs. With the material requested I am trying to fulfill the minimum of what is required for them to kick start the reading, phonics, and eventually I am hoping for them to find their love of reading!!! Please help me so I can help my young learners meet their learning needs!!! I will use the easel in every lesson, I will use the leveled books during my reading workshop and make book baggies so they can read independently in class, I will have my students learn reading and sound blending with the help of hands on games I have requested. They are eager to learn and given the appropriate tools, they will only excel!

About my class
