    Thank you for helping my students learn in a new way! The products you donated money for has helped the kids improve in their social skills as well as expressive language skills. The children love being able to use the laminated visuals to express their thoughts such as their wants and needs. The picture cards has allowed my students to understand everyday situations and how to respond to them. Whenever I can bring my sessions to life for my students, I do! The kids enjoy coming to speech and I want to thank you guys so much for the assistance with making that happen.”

  • Learning in a New and Exciting Way!

    I know that my students all have IEPs and struggle either with a language issue or a speech issue but one thing they all have in common is their love for technology. That is why I found it to be extremely important for my students to learn how to use technology as a way to learn and not only for video games. With the tablets I have received due to your donations, the children have been able to research people in history or topics of interest so that they can complete a presented assignment. They love using them and are never opposed to it.”

These tablets will be used in the therapy room, so the students can productively search up vocabulary words they do not know as they read a text, associate visuals to a newly presented word and watch videos on proper placement of oral cavity structures to improve their articulation/phonological skills. In addition, they will be able to use educational programs on the tablets to assist them with achieving their speech and language goals as well as academic. The tablets will also be utilized as a reward system to increase motivation of students.

About my class
