Help My Students Express Themselves to the Fullest
Funded Sep 7, 2022I would like to send many thanks for supporting my project. My students were so excited when I showed them the expanding expression tool (EET) materials. They have since been working on their expressive language. The materials you helped fund have helped them learn how to describe objects by categorizing them and by making connections and associations. In turn, it has helped them organize their thoughts and ideas. It has helped them develop their vocabulary. One of my students had a really difficult time grasping the idea of categories, but the EET materials was what finally helped her understand how to categorize. It was such an exciting breakthrough! The EET materials have helped the students I had in mind when I posted my project on DonorsChoose, but I know they will help many more future students, and it is all because of your support!”

Funded Sep 27, 2022I would like to send you many thanks. Because of your generous donation, the preschool students I work with have the opportunity to play and learn with a variety of manipulatives.
The alphabet tub toys and the alphabet mystery box have truly been a gift for myself and the students on my caseload. The manipulatives are so versatile as they can be used in so many different ways. I plan to hide the toys inside plastic eggs for Easter. The students will be thrilled.
I wish you could see the joy in the students face when they realize we will be learning with the manipulatives. Students have enjoyed reaching into the mystery box and taking out a toy. Once they are holding a toy, we work on naming the item, describing it, and answering basic WH questions. Students work on social skills such as sharing the toys and turn-taking. Best of all, the students get to play with the item while learning!
Students retain what they learn best, when they are engaged in the activity and having fun. Your donations have truly made a difference.”

Funded Feb 8, 2022I would like to send you many thanks. Because of your generous donations, students have been given the chance to participate in Speech and Language therapy sessions with materials that are more suited for the students and that are in bright and eye-catching colors.
With your donation that included Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards, I was able to obtain different materials that engage my students. I use these materials to target my student's language and articulation goals, while making it fun for them. The students have enjoyed learning from these materials, and they are materials that I plan to use for many years to come.
Your donation funded a color printer that I use to print the materials purchased from the Teacher's Pay Teacher's site, as well as from documents that I already own. With this printer, I am also given the ability to scan items and to make colored photocopies of items, something I did not have access to before.
You have made such a wonderful impact in the lives of my students and in my life.
Thank you again!”

Funded Oct 24, 2020I would like to send you many thanks. Because of your generous donations, students have been given the chance to participate in Speech and Language therapy sessions that are more interactive and that can be tailored to their needs.
I currently have access to some online activities, however, some of my students have voiced that the activities were, for lack of a better word, "boring." With your donation that included Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards, I was able to purchase a subscription to Pink Cat Games online. I use these games to target my student's language and articulation goals, while making it fun and engaging for them. The students constantly request to play games from this website, and I am always happy to comply.
Your donation funded an Osmo base and Osmo case that fits my personal iPad. I am able to use the Osmo items as a Document Camera. Using the Osmo as a document camera has given me the opportunity to use materials that I would normally use during in-person learning. Doing so is important, because once in-person learning commences, the students will be familiar with the materials presented to them virtually, through the Osmo.
You have made such a wonderful impact in the lives of my students and in my life.
Thank you again!”

Ms. M
