  • Bring Technology Aids to Kindergarten Students in the East Village

    We are so thankful for your generosity in helping us to bring technology aids to our classroom. Through the use of a projector, and its necessary connection pieces, my students have all been able to see the board from no matter where they are in the room. During a pandemic, students were asked to remain near or at their desks all day. This has helped us to still do videos on GoNoodle as well as see all the pictures in a read aloud. Unfortunately, we have transitioned back to remote learning, but I hope to use this aid in the future when we return.”

  • Bring Organization to East Village Kindergarten Students

    Each of the students in my kindergarten class has benefited from your donation. During this pandemic, they have their own supply bin, book baggy and bin for printed materials. This has been so helpful in keeping each student organized. Unfortunately, we have now transitioned to remote learning, but these first 10 weeks were a complete success because of YOU! I hope our students return to the school building shortly so we can all benefit from generosity on a daily basis. Please stay safe during these uncertain times.”

Blended learning has changed the way educators are thinking about the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. My kindergarten students will be spending part of their time in school and part at home. This project will help to bridge the gap between home and school so students can learn more about the DOE provided device they will be using. This will increase visual aids for students, especially those sitting farther away as students must stay at tables and desks and cannot come to the meeting area/ rug. The current classroom we are in does not have a projector, so this will be essential in helping students.

About my class
