  • Books and More Books!

    As a first year teacher I had little to no books for my 3rd graders in the classroom to read from our classroom library. With your help, I was able to purchase a substantial amount of books for fill my classroom library.

    Reading is a big part of my classroom and I have a lot of students who love to read. Students read every morning after they complete their morning work. Students also read if they finish assignments early. Some of my student even choose to read in their free time, which makes my teacher heart happy!

    My students especially liked the books that were related to STEAM. STEAM is something that we focus on in our classroom, so it was really cool to have books related to STEAM and potential careers.”

  • Coding Our Way Into Art Masterpieces

    This project has helped my students gain a better knowledge of coding. By having these robots they are able to experience and see right in front of them what coding is and how it works. I love that they are able to have this hands on experience.

    My students were excited about all the products. There was not one type of robot (Artie or Ozobots) that they liked or were more excited over. I love seeing them create and use their imagination when using these, especially the Ozobots.

    All of my students have warmed up to these products and ask weekly during Fun Friday if they can use the Robots!”
