These materials will help make our first (social distanced) semester of PE more fun! This is my first year teaching PE, and my alternative high school campus has never had organized PE classes before. I have been looking for alternatives to the traditional (football, basketball) sports that many students are NOT interested in, and one of my students asked me, "Have you ever played golf?" I said, "Yeah, but I'm not very good at it. I love miniature golf, though..." and the light bulbs in my head went off! So, we are going to do an entire unit on golf, learn the rules of the game (regular and minature), and use this equipment to start practicing and playing golf once a week during our afternoon PE class. Helping me build the materials for a golf unit will give my students the chance to learn a new sport and to stay active even on days when we can't go outside! Thank you, and may God bless you all for the help you give to teachers!
