• Let's Play!

  Wow! Thank you so much for all the help and support to get brand new toys for our house area! Our students were so excited to receive our brand new materials and use them right away!

  In our package we received a baby doll changing table, a new table and chairs, pretend phones, and a kitchen tapestry! We put all these brand new items to use right away! Our students are having so much fun using their imagination with the baby doll changing table. All the brand new items were such a big hit! We have been working on taking turns and sharing all the new toys!

• Interactive Books

  Thank you so much for our amazing new books! The class favorite is "Soup Opera" by Jim Gill. Soup Opera is a book that has a CD that sings along about a man going to a fancy restaurant and orders a bowl of soup, but has one problem he does not have a spoon to eat his soup! The students love the opera voices and singing along with the silly story! Another favorite interactive story we received was "Today is Monday" by Eric Carle. In this story our students love looking at the animals and seeing what they eat on each different day of the week!

  I am so excited to continue reading these stories to my future classes to come! Not a lot of our families have books at home, so by having these engaging stories hopefully can make a positive impact on reading! Thank you again!”

• Solve that Puzzle!

  Thank you again for our brand new puzzles! We have been having a blast problem solving and working together on our puzzles! Some of the favorite puzzles are the firetruck, ocean animals, and the school bus! Puzzles help in many ways. Sometimes friends need a break and by doing a puzzle, it can be a great way to calm down. Puzzles also help build language skills and works on motor skills. Thanks you to our amazing donors for helping us get new puzzles! We can't wait to use these puzzles for years to come! :)”

• What Can You Build?

  Wow! Thank you for all your support and donations! Ours students were so thrilled when they saw the brand new toys in our classroom! The favorite toy so far is the farm magnetic tiles and the big giant foam blocks! The students have been very creative with the pretend farm and love to add other animals to the farm! With the giant foam blocks we like to practice counting how many blocks we added to the tower before it falls down! The excitement on their faces when the giant tower falls down is priceless!

• Pretend Play

  Thank you for your donations! We absolutely love our new pretend food for our house area! The students have been cooking/baking up a storm in our classroom! They have been so creative with the new food and now they get so excited for playtime so they can cook their friends and teachers food! In the package was also a fun ball drop game! The kids love practicing taking turns and watching the balls go down the ramp!

• ABC Sensory Shells

  Thank you so much for our awesome new toys! We took the sensory shells and put them in our sandbox! It was so neat to so what the students did with them! Some friends buried them and pretended it was "hidden treasure" others made soups and cakes with the shells! It is great that even with such a simple toy they can practice early literacy skills just by seeing the letters.

• Happy School Year!

  Thank you so much for the materials to help get us geared up for our school year! The highlight of the kids/teachers is the birthday crowns, signs, and the smelly stickers! Its always a joy to see the biggest smile on their face now that we have these special materials to use for their big day! We are also grateful for the laminating sheets that were also part of this package! We laminate a lot of materials here in our classroom and we put them to great use!
