Learning a second language requires authentic material and the use of language in a real context. My students can explore content related to performance arts while they are practicing their skills in Spanish language. Our students will produce valuable material that we can use in our classroom for different levels of Spanish proficiency. Students need to have conversations, but also, to hear and visualize themselves speaking the language. Students can collaborate with valuable and authentic material produced on video for the benefit of themselves, and future students. They can take this material to explore language beyond the classroom.
