I have a group of energetic students who enjoy movement. Flexible seating will allow my students the opportunity to move their bodies as they learn. Some of my students also have poor posture and very little strength in their core. Flexible seating will help improve their posture and strengthen their core. I have seen how powerful and beneficial flexible seating is in classrooms because it gives students the power to choose and allows them to move their bodies as they need in order to be a successful learner. In my classroom, flexible seating will be used during core academics in order to give students the choice of what type of seating works best for them. Some academic lessons can be long and it can be a lot for students to sit still for a period of time. Therefore, having flexible seating will allow students to get their "wiggles" out. Flexible seating will allow students comfort and the ability to be more engaged in class.
