Thank you so much for the gratitude you have shown me and my class. Due to your donation, 60 fourth graders were able to enjoy books relating to science, history, biographies folk tales, and other fiction and non-fiction texts.
The students are currently enjoying the book about Rosa Parks for Black History Month! We are regularly reading books this year in a digital setting, yet this year's school-wide reading time has been a particular time to look forward to the look and feel of a real book. The students love to choose from those books donated to our class, and the books are leveled for 3rd to 5th grade which makes sure all students can read and benefit from a book at their level of reading.

My students need to see various genres of text. Since we are learning virtually, it has been difficult to keep reading fun and engaging for them. I want to provide book of various level for my students to practice and enjoy. I want to instill in my students that reading can be fun and it is very important to ensure a successful future. Many of my students are English language learners and they would benefit from having access to books at home. I could deliver books to my students that interest them and would give them the practice they need to become fluent readers.
