  • Kindergarteners Learning Virtually Is Fun with Teachers Pay Teachers

    Funded Mar 24, 2021

I know this thank you comes late but I have to say, from the bottom of my heart that having a colored printer has changed learning for my students. Having centers and pictures that my ELL students can actually learn from has enhanced their academic abilities tremendously.

Students used to try to complete the centers and always ask, what is this? Why does this look this way and it was always difficult because being an ELL student, you need clear pictures to have a clear understanding and now they have that thanks to all who donated!! Thank you so very much”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • Learning Through Colored Visuals

    Funded Dec 17, 2020

I am so overjoyed by your generosity. My students, who all have difficulty with language will now be able to see colorful pictures of vocabulary words they are learning about. Their centers will be bright and colorful and be so much more helpful because of our new colored printer. Your kindness and generosity will go a long way with my students. Thank you from both me and my 25 students!!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

This classroom project was brought to life by The Peterson Family and 2 other donors.
My little Kindergarteners are so excited to come to school everyday and learn as much as they can. They are little sponges and soak up as much information as they can each day. It is very sad, but my school does not have enough printers for each class and when we do have a printer its black and white and usually out of ink. These little ENL students need visuals to learn not only new material but also to help with their language skills. Students will often say, "What is that, I cant see it?" The black and white pictures don't really help visually. If I could show them in color, it would make a major difference in their learning . When I print out our learning centers, students have trouble labeling and matching pictures because they just cannot see the image or they cannot see what it is. Please help us bring some color into our classroom!! Thank you so much
