My goal as a dyslexia teacher is to not only provide my students with strategies that enable them to improve their reading, writing, and spelling skills but also their self-advocacy skills. I want to set them up for success and help them develop the self-confidence to ask for the tools they need to be successful and thrive in the real world. The self-help guides that I have selected for this project will help me and my students reach this goal.
