The majority of my students come from low-income backgrounds and have limited access to resources outside the classroom. Using a Cricut machine will be a new experience for them! At this age, identify and personal expression is very important to them. This year, we are focusing on the question "What is identity?" as a theme in my 8th grade classroom. This project will allow students to create customized labels for their backpacks, water bottles and more! It will be a creative outlet for them that will serve as a way to express their individual identities while also learning new skills!
