Funded Sep 24, 2023Integrating literacy games has sparked so much excitement in my classroom! Each day, students can hardly wait to see what new activity is planned, and even those who previously showed reluctance are now eager to join reading groups. The games add an element of play that reduces the pressure around reading and allows students to explore literacy in a fun, engaging way. The sight of colorful game boards, character cards, and phonics puzzles transforms our classroom into a lively space where students actively participate and even cheer each other on. I've noticed that even my quieter students are volunteering to take turns, helping one another sound out words, and celebrating each small victory together.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Peck
