My sixth graders are currently required to do 240 minutes of synchronous instruction for the week. Half of that is time dedicated to asynchronous learning. During my students' asynchronous time, they will be able to work on instructional activities in conjunction with my in-class instruction. I am hoping to provide a wide variety of learning activities that challenge their thinking and are fun for when we do not meet on Zoom. These alternative tools they will use doing their independent learning such as BrainPOP will be an exciting and useful website for instruction. BrainPOP is an essential engagement tool that allows my students and me to be involved in the learning process.
