I have a diverse group of students with various reading levels. During quarantine, we have been watching the news and seeing the turmoil that our country is experiencing. With these diverse books, we can not only build literacy but also expand our ability to express our perspectives and synthesize information. The literature we have on campus currently does not meet the demand or background of my diverse learners. The school library is limited and my classroom library dates back to 2012. These books are of high interest and I just know they will be enjoyed.
