Kandinsky and Picasso Art : Supplies Needed

Once again, I want to thank you for giving my class the opportunity to do Art through a different means. When I first showed them the materials they would get they were very excited and wanted to go pick them up right away. Many of them have previously used oil pastels and they were really excited to get some for their own.

They were ready every Friday and had their materials ready on hand. They loved to look through their work and share their artwork with their classmates. It made doing Art easier. Students had their canvas pad and their oil pastels which they loved to use. We were able to do some artwork from different artists. We focused on Kandinsky, Picasso, Diego Rivera art and some other projects. They really loved to do the Eiffel Tower and went beyond my expectations in their art.

The next steps will be to continue to use the Canvas pad until they run out of pages. We would probably see if we can get more for them to continue with their art. Doing art especially during distance learning made them look forward to Friday's. Distance Learning can be a bit difficult and challenging but during Art they relaxed and had fun. I didn't have to worry about them not being engaged or participating.”
