With this 3D printer I can print manipulative models that I can either show in video, or I can send them home to work on, so that learners with different learning styles can learn in the way that works best for them. I believe that giving students a way that they can touch and look at the models will help them understand the way that organs work and also give them a sense of scale that they can not get from a textbook. It also allows me to tailor the lessons to things that they are interested in, which I believe will encourage learning.
