The microphones were a hit with students! We were able to develop our own GSA podcast and meet with a variety of individuals including the DOE LGBT program manager, a park ranger working with the National Stonewall Monument, Miz Jade from Drag Queen Story Hour, an ACLU lawyer working with youth on knowing their rights and the Youth Program Manager at the NYC LGBT Center.
The pandemic was tough but our podcast kept us connected! We so appreciate your generous support.

Our Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) would like to produce their very own podcast on LGBTQ+ topics to stream to our school community. I am requesting podcast microphones to create great sounding podcast content! By donating to our project you will help us educate school community members on issues around gender, sexuality, race and reach over 1K students in our school! The microphones will be crucial for my students to produce crisp, professional sounding audio to tell our stories and interview guest from our community. Our GSA's podcast will be educational, informative and will promote an inclusive school climate and safe space for all students.
