A document camera will allow me to project learning materials into the virtual space and keep our lessons fun, interactive, and engaging. Students learn in a variety of ways. It is imperative that I meet the needs of all learners in my virtual classroom. Our class will be annotating and analyzing various pieces of literature throughout the year. Using the document camera will allow students to view examples and follow along with the instruction. Further, many of my students have limited access to technology and we live in a rural area with poor internet connectivity. A document camera will help mitigate some of these issues and simplify our classroom routine.
