My students all come with different ability levels and because of this their instruction and practice are differentiated. With the flexibility and apps available on the iPad, I can ensure that my students are receiving engaging learning opportunities at their level. There are many ways I can support students at their levels with the apps and resources available on the iPads. My students will use the iPads to build early literacy skills like letter recognition, word reading, etc. They will also use them to build early numeracy skills like number recognition, counting, and basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The iPads will also create a sense of independence because my students can work on them at their own pace and by themselves. In addition to it helping my students access their academic and social-emotional needs, it can be used as a reinforcement for them engaging in appropriate behaviors.
