Back to School Restock!
Funded Aug 23, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity! My students were ecstatic to open our boxes with all of the new supplies to use at the start of the new year. The smiles were priceless.
We use the new supplies daily. The stools have been a game changer in our learning community. The students use them every single day during small group time and for flexible seating options. The anchor chart paper, whiteboard markers, crayons, and pencils are well used to help support our learning. The kids loved our polka dot pocket chart to match our classroom decor and it holds all of our letter cards. The magnetic shelves display all of our monthly read aloud books. The trays and paper organizers, keep our classroom nice and organized.
These materials have supported our learning and we are grateful for that!”

Easing Into the New School Year!
Funded Aug 23, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations! My students were ecstatic when our brand new double sided easel arrived! The students are loving being able to read our morning message on our new easel every single morning. The helping hand each day tracks the words as we read it together as a class and fills in any missing letters or words based on our phonics skills for the week. They are also loving the blank side of the easel to show their math work and to use the anchor chart paper that was donated as well. We use this chart paper almost daily in our classroom.
Morning choice has been a hit in our classroom! When the magnetic blocks, play dough, and brain flakes arrived, the students could not be more excited to use them to ease into their mornings. The things they are creating with these materials are so awesome to see! The zipper pouches have been perfect to store these morning choice materials and for each individual student to store their school supplies in their desk.
The pencil boxes have been the perfect addition to our class. We use them for math toolkits. It is super helpful having one place for students to locate all needed math tools and manipulatives. The expo markers and whiteboard erasers are used daily, along with the document camera. Our old one broke, so good thing we got a new one. The students are loving being able to show their best work to their classmates.
All of this has been made possible because of your generous donations! Thank you so much for helping my students learn, grow, and be excited for school!”

Back to School Bonanza!
Funded Aug 19, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations! When I showed my kids the packages we had received, they were so excited and wanted to open them right away. The individual colored bins are a hit! The kids LOVE having their own bins to store their supplies.
My students love using the document camera to project their work completed on their whiteboards. I love being able to project work easily as well. The whiteboard markers are a staple in our class. The students are using them often to complete work. The sticky easel pads we use for anchor charts almost everyday! The books have been great conversation starters.
I used the Velcro dots for visuals and to support our behavior incentive for PBIS. Students earn letters on their desk for showing expectations. Finally, the kids and I are loving the Dinostick for presentations. We say how "magical" it is to be able to click the next slide without touching the computer.
The smiles, fun, creativity, and improved learning was all made possible because of your generous donations! My students and I could not be more grateful!”

Distraction Free and Focusing With Glee!
Funded Dec 17, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations! When I showed my kids the packages we had received, they were so excited and wanted to open them right away. The privacy partitions are a huge hit in my classroom! My students are always asking when they can use them next. When using the privacy partitions, there are less distractions around them and they are better able to focus. We use them for show what you know assessments, independent work, and sometimes just for fun.
My students are always using their whiteboards and whiteboard markers to complete math problems or practice writing their spelling words. The Expo Markers were definitely needed and are getting great use! The individual Play-Doh was a HUGE hit in my classroom. The kids love coming in and having the chance to free play with their Play-Doh. We also use the Play-Doh to make our high frequency words for the week! It is one of our favorite activities! The Astrobrights cardstock has been getting used up! The bright colors have been used for our 100 day of school crowns, important notices to send home, and for fun projects. Finally, the magnetic shelves have been great to display our read alouds for the week. The students know to look at the shelves to see what we will be reading for the week.
The smiles, fun, creativity, and improved learning was all made possible because of your generous donations! My students and I could not be more grateful!”

In a Room or Zoom, We Will Bloom!
Funded Sep 3, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations! When I showed my kids the packages we had received, they were ecstatic! They wanted to read our new class books right away. We have an "Open the Magic Friday" where I reveal a surprise book that we are going to read as a class. My students had nothing but positive comments to say about our new books; "All Are Welcome," "Ruby Finds a Worry," "We're Different, We're the Same," "The Name Jar," and "Lucy's Mask." These were great discussion starters about big feelings, diversity, and how to be safe in school. To jump start our remote learning, we used the story "A Little Spot Learns Online." This story helped my students brainstorm classroom rules that we need to follow while learning online together.
The small group teaching easel has been great for virtual learning! I can easily show my students how to solve math problems and how to spell their spelling words. This small group teaching easel will be perfect in the future, when we are in person, for doing small group work as well :) The Post-it Super Sticky Easel Pad has been used for anchor charts, sharing ideas, and for posters during our Class Mascot Election. When we are outside learning, the students have used their clipboards to give them a surface to complete their work, while getting some fresh air!
My students were absolutely thrilled to receive their new individual supplies. Some supplies is used while they are at home learning, while other supplies is used when they are in person. The mesh bags hold all of my students' supplies and helps keep them organized when we are in person. It is certainly helping so we don't have messy desks! The students love using the dry erase markers at home and in person when they are showing their work on their whiteboards. Good thing there are enough markers for each student to have more than one because they are using them up with showing all their hard work! They were even more thrilled to find out that they each get their own sticky note pad to write down notes while they are independent reading and to write ideas down to share with the class. The pencil top erasers are great when we are working on math problems. The magnetic hooks are a big hit with my class as well. They love their PAWsitive behavior sticker charts and to make it COVID friendly, they can have their charts attached to their desk. The hooks also hold important papers that they don't want to get lost in their desks, so there is an added plus!
The smiles, great discussions, fun, and improved learning was all made possible because of your generous donations! My students and I could not be more grateful!”
