The thought is always there that one day we will be together in a classroom setting and the next we will be sent home virtualy with no in person goodbyes. These tools will create an easy adjustment to be able to see and interact with each other virtually rather than in the classroom. I like my classroom to be interactive, cohesive, and modernized. My students are receiving Chromebooks for the first time this week. My school district has never had money in the budget to give out a Chromebook to each student until the year when they believe it was vital to do. Being a first year teacher and experienced with technology, this blew my mind that they were not 1 to 1 in technology. With the fear of being completely virtual, I would like to make that transition easier with having tools in my classroom that will allow them to continue the learning process whether that's in my classroom or if we are sent home. Each child learns in different ways and I know there will be students who struggle learning online. If that is what happens, I want my students to be confident in technology and be able to interact with me online. Having the iPad and Document scanner will allow me to do everything we do on a daily basis in my classroom and make it visible to my students online. The Apple pen will be paired perfectly with the iPad so I can have precise writing and penmanship when working out math problems online. Showing your work is important when teaching math and even though it will be hard for the students to do so virtually, I would like the opportunity to do so for my students to make it easier for them to learn,
