I will be teaching math to first grade students at home. Young children learn best by playing and manipulating object that they can see in front of them. Unfortunately, our school can not provide essential math manipulatives like unifix cubes, dice, counters, base 10 blocks, dominoes or white boards to our students while we are learning at home. Our school is 100% virtual right now, so I think it is very important to make sure our students have access to these materials at home, just like they do at school.

About my class
