My students love the lego letters. We are learning letter sounds and using the lego letters to help keep the children engage with the activity. One of our centers, I have a group of students use the lego letters to create words. My students were so excited when the package was delivered to us. • It's a Win Win! Teachers for Teachers!

    Funded Mar 23, 2021

The gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers has helped me a lot with my remote kids this year. One of the biggest helps was the calendar that I got for our morning meeting. The calendar has slides on feelings, questions of the day, months, weeks, letters, and math activities. My students love the calendar on our morning meeting and they like interact with the calendar as well.

Bi-weekly our students come to school to pick up supplies and I appreciate that with this gift card I can get awesome worksheets that other teacher made for my students. They love to show me their work during our remote calls and it's very important to still have hands-on activities even if the students are remote. This awesome gift provides some of those great activities this year!”

  • Pete the Cat Books for PreK!

    Funded Mar 16, 2021

We had a Pete the Cat WEEK in our classroom this week. My students LOVE all the Pete the Cat books, Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons felt set, I Love My White Shoes felt set, and the Pete the Cat doll. Since they saw that we had the materials they couldn't wait to use them!

The skills that we are using this week with the books is the ability for students to retelling a story. The felt set that was given to us helped our students touch and feel Pete and retell the story to the whole class using the felt visuals. This encourage my students to pay attention during reading time because they wanted to be the one using the felt set to retell the story. Thank you for all of the materials!”

  • Preschoolers Love Numbers!

    Funded Apr 12, 2021

My students are obsess with the number robots, number ice cream cones, and number bingo! They always ask for these materials during our interest area time or small group time. My students are so much more interested in numbers! They are recognizing the numbers and grouping them because of these amazing items.

My students use these items almost everyday. During our interest areas, I take out the ice cream cone activity and the number robots. The students have so much fun placing the amount of ice cream that matches the cone number and all the kids want to be in that interest area so much that we take timed turns when using the material. The students also love playing with the number robots because they have so much fun transforming them into robots and then transforming them into numbers again. Truly, thank you so much for these materials.”

  • Let's Create with Dot Art Paints!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

My students LOVE our dot paints! They were so excited to have one of their own! Since January 11th, my school district has become hybrid which means that some of our students are remote learning and some of our students are in class learning. Our students from home pick up the materials for supply pick up and our students in class keep their materials in their cubby. One of the added materials are the dot paints!

We use the dot paints for art projects such as panting self-portraits, self expression, and painting drawings to retell our stories. This is one of my students favorite materials to use while creating art! They are so good at expressing themselves through their drawings. They always impressed me! Thank you so much.”

  • ABC Learning Without Tears

    Funded Mar 4, 2021

My students were SO excited to see the robot letters, alphabet beads, and alphabet magnets. They were so excited to use the materials and I have never seen them so excited about letters like that before! Everyday, they ask me if we are going to play with our robot letters, or make letter necklaces, or make words with our fridge magnets. It's so amazing how much more interested they are in letters after we received these wonderful materials. Thank you, truly.

When we used our robot letters, I always ask the students what letters they want before we start and to find the letter. This helps my students recognize letters and get familiar with them. Each student gets 5 letters. They transform the letters into robots and each robot has a unique noise.. it's the letter sound of that letter! The students love it! They think it's so funny and fun but little do they know that they are learning the letters and their sounds! Thank you so much for these amazing materials. My students and I are very thankful.”
