In the 2021-2022 school year, there will be a primary focus on reading and math after a year of virtual instruction. However, I do not want science and social studies to be put on the back burner. These are subjects my students greatly enjoy. Incorporating Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines and digital resources into my instruction will give my students access to materials that will not only build their knowledge but will captivate them. A world of wonder and discovery will be opened for them. After not being in the classroom for a full year, my students are also in need of social and emotional support. These skills are embedded in the magazines. After using these fun and flexible resources in the classroom, the magazines will be sent home for family engagement. Your support of my project will make a lasting impact in the lives of my students.
