Transforming a Montessori Primary classroom for Covid requirements is no easy fete as the essence of a Montessori classroom is tied to community. Community has many definitions but during COVID-19 community must be redefined as we need to implement health and safety practices that will keep us all healthy. This involves buying yoga mats for individual work space (as we can't use rugs), outdoor friendly materials (as we will try to be working outside as much as possible), plastic bins for keeping of individual school supplies and offering an array and having on hand art consumables for individual use.
