I am a first year teacher at a newly opened Pre-K center. I can't wait to help my students learn using these essential supplies. Having a starting supply of paint, paper, and clay, will give the students opportunity to find their creative expression in hands on activities. I am especially excited to have the students work on their very own mini- canvases, allowing them to feel like professional artists and makers. Hands on learning is especially important for these little learners. Pre-k students need special attention when working with motor skill development, and work with clay and other sensory art activities allow them to have a blast while creating an important skill set that bridges outside of the art classroom
