Through your generosity, transitions will rum much more smoothly, which helps more instructional time with less interruptions. Moving On!
Funded Jun 10, 2024Thank you so much for supporting my students. It means the world to me, especially at this time. It warms my heart to know there is so much good in the world!
This gift put a smile on my students faces and made them feel safe to move on to the next grade.
They were so happy to receive slime and therapy clay to help with the soothe the anxiety of moving on.
Thank you for thinking of us at this time and taking the time out of your busy schedule to help us. My students feel supported and uplifted from your support. They learn how important it is to pay this kindness forward. Thank you again!"”

Warmth and Comfort
Funded Nov 28, 2023My students and I are so very grateful to you for your generous donation! Because of your donation, my students can focus in the general ed class during the winter months. Since we are a school with a dress code, some students may not have had the resources from home to be afforded a school color zip up hooded sweatshirt, however, with your support, they have one. It is not always easy to ask students if they need help, and not always easy to ask for help. The parents are also very grateful to you, our donors!
Thank you!
Ms. Azzolini”

Funded Nov 14, 2023My students and I want to personally thank you for all of your support in funding my project, Warmth and Comfort. Through your generosity, I was able to give my students navy blue zip up hooded sweatshirts that meet our dress code requirements. Often times students will either wear any color sweater/sweatshirt they have and sometimes their outer coat, (although that is not permitted), because they are cold. When I gave them the sweatshirts, they were beyond grateful and excited! Their parents were just as grateful! Now my students can focus on class work without being distracted bc they are cold! Thank you so much!!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Townsend Press and one other donor.Change of Pace!
Funded Sep 25, 2023Thank you for funding my project, Change of Pace. In that project, I requested an Ergo Bounce Chair. This chair has been used multiple times in my class, mostly as a redirection option for when students are getting a bit distracted or off task. It gives them the time they need to have a short break without getting in trouble. Students with ADHD are happy to have an opportunity to sit in the chair at the group work table. Sometimes there are other students working at the group work table and other times they are at the table by themselves. They know it is not a punishment, but an opportunity for them to have a moment. I can't tell you how grateful we are for this chair! The students are already asking if we can get another!”

Engineering Enthusiasts!
Funded Sep 27, 2023This project funding was wonderful! With the matching of donors donations, this project was fully funded in time to use for our engineering unit on building bridges! Students loved the building boxes and were able to get so creative! They ran into structural problems along the way, which all engineers do, and were able to make necessary adjustments.
Students worked independently and in groups. The students were challenged to think and come up with solutions when a problem presented itself. I loved that all students were able to meet the objectives with these building materials because of your generosity!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Young Sheldon on CBS and 4 other donors.Elementary Essentials!
Funded Jul 7, 2023My Elementary Essentials project included dry erase markers, dry erase board erasers, fidget items such as pop it's and other kinesthetic items as well as a podium for walking and talking when presenting reports. As soon as I opened the box that contained the items, my students were so thrilled! A co-worker put together the podium stand for them and again, were thrilled! During math, dry erase markers are always needed. With these new markers, we are sure to have enough to last us until June! The erasers are magnetic which helps them stay inside their desks! The fidget box is used as an incentive or given to students who may have difficulty sitting quietly during instruction time. The podium will be used on a daily basis! We are so excited and thrilled to have gotten these items for our class!”

Resource Resources!
Funded Jan 1, 2023Your contributions have greatly helped my students because they no longer have to find a dry erase marker or board. They are readily available. In addition, they have a hand held sharpener that is also readily available and reduces the amount of time they need to get up and walk to the electric sharpener. This cuts down on classroom distractions as well. Since I am an in class resource teacher, I work with small groups. It is important that I am able to work efficiently in the classroom and with as little distractions to the classroom teacher. Thank you once again for helping me achieve this.”

The Year That Was Remote!
Funded Dec 31, 2020Last year, while we were remote, I requested materials such as the dry erase strips, dry erase boards, composition notebooks, and writing folders to be added to my students' at-home materials. The other materials, such as flashcards, volume activities, and fraction bars were utilized by me while teaching remotely so that students had visual models. Since the students have officially returned to school this year, I have had the opportunity to talk to my students and see where they struggled with the curriculum. Mostly all of my students still are using the materials they received last year and ask if I still use the volume activities! The liked those activities the best and we are extremely grateful to you, our donors!”
