Watercolors for All!

thank you all very much for your generous and wonderful contributions. Teaching art remotely has been a bit of a challenge but please know that your donations contributed to the amazing experience of many young students using watercolors for the first time. Teaching them techniques like blending and how to be resourceful was a wonderful experience. As a novice in art this was a formative and amazing experience for me as well. We are never done learning as adults or teachers. Sharing the joy of art and watercolors was a truly priceless experience. Finding our inner liberation through the creative process is essential especially during these trying times. Thank you with all of my heart. Gabriella Charter School 2 appreciates all of you dearly!”

Bringing the joy and creativity of watercolors is an enriching experience to all elementary school students. Since most of our students come from low-income housing this is a wonderful artistic experience that will be a colorful memory in their minds and hearts. There is a total of 320 students in our school, but I was hoping to fund 160 sets in order to give them to the older kids (grades 3-5). I plan on providing them with watercolor paper and hope to help them hone their painting techniques with this wonderful and affordable medium!
