Starting the year in distance learning requires me to mimic the classroom as students were used to. A document camera will enable me to teach students and have them be actively involved. The level of engagement will increase because each child will have their own white board to show their thinking. They will be able to share their problem solving skills with each other using their boards. Having white boards in students' hands will give all my students the same opportunity to be actively involved in the virtual classroom as we learn about financial literacy. The document camera will help my students see the read alouds such as "Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday" as we discuss concepts of saving, spending, as well as using their addition and subtraction skills for daily life. Thank you for investing in my students' education.
