  • Reading in Comfort!

    Your donations have made it possible for my students to engage in collaborative shared experiences in the library area. The students were excited to place the pieces together to form the alphabet. Its multi-purpose use make it possible for the younger students to refer to the tiles during phonics instructions. It has made such an impact in my classroom and has helped to create another area for instructions. My class community take this opportunity to say thank you very much for your generous giving to us.”

  • Jet Into a Reading Adventure

    My students are enjoying using the reading materials donated to them to engage in Reading, Science, and Social Studies adventures in and out of the classroom.

    The materials have made a difference to learning and instructions. We are using the materials for Science so that they can visualize the animals in their habitat. Students also engage in small group and whole class activities using the books to propel them into the exciting world of animals.

    Students use the books as models to draw the animals and label their drawing along with the interesting facts as we complement our Reading task in our ELA lesson of How Animals Communicate.

    We want to thank the donors for their generosity and thoughtfulness in engaging in this process.”

They will be engaged in both individual and small group instructions. This will help students who are below level to improve. Students will be given take home baggies to help support and reinforce what was done in the classroom. This will strengthen the home/school connection. Students will develop a love for reading as they discover and explore different places and interact using reading skills both at home and in school.
