Without the ability to get up and move, the flexible seating at students' desks will allow the kids to have some movement while staying safely at their seats. I have requested enough individual whiteboards and markers will be used at school and at home. Collaboration has also been such a key part of learning in our classroom. The whiteboards allow students to all participate from their seats. By having one at home, the students can also all show their thinking and collaborate with each other by writing answers on the whiteboard and showing the boards to the camera during our Google Meets. Flexible seating and individual whiteboards are creative attempts to provide some normalcy in our classroom during this pandemic. I am hoping to provide kids as many opportunities to move, share, collaborate, and feel part of our classroom community as possible this school year. The flexible seating and whiteboards will continue to be valued in years to come. Thank you for considering to support our classroom!
