I have recognized that with working from home, I will have to make adjustments to make sure that I am able to be the best educator I can. Based on my teaching schedule, I will be spending close to 9 hours a day in front of my computer teaching, attending professional developments and meetings, and tutoring. I have been working towards finding ways to create a workspace that will ensure that I will be able to keep my stamina, focus, creativity and positive energy going in all that I do. Because of this, I feel that an updated computer would assist me in my virtual classroom. Keeping multiple tabs, Zoom calls, and creating resources will be happening around the clock to meet my students´ and program´s needs since I am both a classroom teacher and pathway program teacher lead. For these reasons, I am humbly asking for your support to have the addition of a new laptop to be able to make the most of virtual learning for my students. I know that this tool will be a great asset to my at-home classroom!
