Let's Be Clear!
Funded Aug 10, 2024Thank you for your donations. We were able to use the dry erase markers in our new math manipulatives kits. The clear pouches that were purchased are being used to keep all of our individualized materials together nicely. We used the clear bookbags to make our "bookbags" for reading class and to keep our individualized book choices together. The cleaning materials are greatly appreciated to help keep our classroom fresh and clean each day. We also thank you for the snacks and candy although they are gone now but, they were delicious at the moment. Thank you, thank you again and again.”

Achoo...Bless You !
Funded Dec 3, 2022Thank you soo much for giving towards this project. First and foremost, with the cold season vastly approaching all of these products were in a dire need. The Boogie Wipes have saved soo many noses and tears so far. The tissues are a true blessing because we recently experienced a flood in our classroom cabinet and it took out a portion of our tissue supply that was given to us. Lip balm, socks, hats, and gloves will be put to great use once our first snow arrives. In the meantime, students who have arrived with no socks have been given a pair. Thank you again.”

"Now Watch Me Create...Now Watch Me Write"
Funded Jul 3, 2022Thank you, thank you so much for the paper, folders, pencils and paper plates. Just the other day we completed a project for Veteran's Day. We used all of the materials that were donated to this project to make signs thanking them for their service to our country. Our next project will involve even more creativity and writing as we start to learn about the sun, the moon and the stars. Again, thank you for supporting my students writing and love of creativity to make something that they want to write about.”

Funded Jun 1, 2021First, I would like to thank you for such a humbling out pouring of support. My students haven't had the chance to play outside with each much since COVID struck. It has been a joy to watch and hear them laugh and play.
I would like to thank you on behalf of them for all of the sport equipment and parachute. We have not had to stay inside for indoor recess yet because our weather has just been so phenomenal outside. However, they are very much aware of the gifts for indoor recess as well. Their faces look like 10,000 watted Christmas lights when I showed them the board games.
To close, thank you again and again for this experience.”

Funded Aug 31, 2020Thank you soo much for donating to my class project. I am happy to report that our Budding Writers are blossoming into Primary Writers now. They have just started learning their sight words. They are reading them and putting them into sentences in their Mead writing journals. I had one student who was excited more than anything else to receive his "big" Ticonderoga Beginner's pencils. He came back online, singing about how he has two "big" pencils now to write with. Thank you again for everything because the items donated have been put to great use with our new District Wide curriculum which requires the students to write and make journal entries.”

Funded Sep 18, 2020Words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation. When I first wrote this project I wasn't sure if anybody would fund it because of it just being a Virtual Pumpkin Patch. But here we are just days after the distribution and getting ready for our Kindergarten Pumpkin Week. The supplies that you purchased were all packed neatly into activity kits that we will be teaching from virtually.
The storybooks will be used to tell the story of a seed to pumpkin. This story usually is told by the farmer at the Pumpkin Patch. However, because of your generosity it can still be told just virtually. The students did each receive a "real" pumpkin with the help of local donors.
The students are getting so excited and were so eagered to see their teachers in person and to receive all of their Pumpkin goodies. Again, thank you, thank you from the bottom of this inner city teacher's heart who couldn't or wouldnt trade the smiles that were put on my students faces for anything in the world all because of YOU.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Shannon
