These books are for the final unit of our school year. We will be spending the last two months of school learning about Climate Change in both ELA and Science! We have found that the best way to help students connect with the realities of Climate Change is to help them connect with how it effects real people. This novel will serve as the opening of our Conservation STEAM Unit for 7th grade. The hope is that students will connect with how man made climate changes effect the lives of the characters in the novel and will deepen their empathy for what if happening in different areas of the globe.
