Help Our Class Get a New Rug and Chair!
Funded Aug 14, 2024Thank you SO much for your generosity in making donations toward a new rug and chair for our classroom! Our students are having so much fun using both and they are contributing to a space that is more conducive to learning!
On our rug we do it ALL! We hold class meetings, we engage in lessons, share our learning with others, read, write, play, and learn! The map element has been a huge support as we have been learning about ancient civilizations and the patterns of earth and sky. We will begin a unit on water soon, and the map, paired with a globe are very helpful models to show how much water is on earth!
We LOVE our big comfy desk chair too! I get SO much use out of the chair when I plan, run small groups, and meet with students. The students also love to sit in the chair when they meet to engage in projects, small group discussions, and more!
We are having a GREAT year so far, and the new rug and chair are huge contributions to that greatness! In fact, I have had several students from previous years come back to visit, and every single student has noticed both the rug and chair, and complimented them naming how they make our space even more beautiful. Again - thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!”
With gratitude,
Dr. Lewis

Funded Aug 25, 2020Thank you so much for your VERY generous donations to purchase the AirPods Pro for our remote classroom! They have been extremely helpful during remote learning. The noise cancelling feature has been a life saver as I've taught remotely from some noisy places! As many of you know, my husband and I moved at the beginning of the school year and our house is still under construction. You may also know that we added on a new wing to our building, and the school building has also been under construction! Having the noise cancelling feature has allowed me to teach with minimal distractions through the construction (that I can't seem to escape - LOL). Your thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity have truly been a blessing to me and to my students! Thank you all so much!”
With gratitude,
Dr. Lewis
