• Classroom Supplies

  Thank you so much for all your donations. Thanks to each and every one of you my students are able to learn with various materials and be organized. Each student was able to get individualized pencil case for their supplies. In addition, they have multi- ways of learning and practicing their letters, numbers, sight words etc. It is so rewarding to see the smiles on their faces as they use the playdough or trays and sand to practice all the different skills we are learning in class. This is all thanks to each of you so thank you.”

• Kindergarten Needs

  Wow!! Thank you so much for all of your donations. It is so exciting to be able to teach our students using so many different materials. As a special education teacher it is so important to have differentiation; whether it is visual, tactile, and kinesthetic.

  Something as simple as notebook and pencil gives the students the ability to practice their writing. Playdough and sand gives them the ability to practice their letters, numbers, shapes etc. Our teddy bears are a fun way to count with different types of manipulatives.

  Words cannot express how grateful we are for your donation. By you all helping fund my project we are now able to put our students on specialized program. One student came in not knowing his name, through the use of different activities and programs he is now able to recognize and spell his name.

  Working as a special education having technology in our classroom helps with differentiation. We are able to provide different resources for each child to learn and grow. Some of the programs are reading, writing, math which help our students learn.

• Remote Learning- Book Bags

  I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful donation to my classroom. My students have enjoyed the books as much as I have. They love being given their own books with their own book bags to take home. Due to COVID my students cannot share anything so having their own books to take home is extraordinary. Without your donations they would not have opportunity to learn and grow in their reading.The students have enjoyed exploring the different characters and settings. My sweet kindergarten students are loving the idea that they have a stack of books to call theirs and be able to practice and learn to read from them.”

  I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful donation to my classroom. My students have enjoyed the laptop just as much as I have. They love going to the computer center because there is are so many educational websites and activities of interest for each child. The students have enjoyed exploring the different activities and programs that help them learn. My sweet kindergarten students are so excited to learn with the given opportunity to use different technology components.

• Remote Learning Kit #1

  Thank you so much for making these materials available to my students. I am a Special Education teacher in the Bronx who is trying my hardest to make learning possible for these children.

  Below you will see pictures of a lowercase dry erase tracing and learning letter book and a math dot book to help conceptualize numbers. The students were so excited to have something that was theirs, they can take home and practice and use during remote learning. These are tools that these students otherwise would not have. Thank you!!

  These books will continue to be used throughout the year to help with learning in the letters in the alphabet and in order to understand number order, matching numbers to objects and building visual and conceptual understanding.
