This project is very meaningful to me because I live in the demographics that my students live in and I feel the need of emotional stability. These students are desperately in need of social emotional support, including but not limited to behavioral problems, suicide, and drop-outs. Numbers are at a rise due to children not having any one listening to their silent cry for help. As a teacher, I have the privilege of guiding these innocent lives to manage their feelings, gain coping skills, feel loved and build their confidence to face this world. I know I can make a difference this year and the years to come! With your support I can implement different social emotional lessons that will help not only children but future homes.

About my class
