  • By the Teachers, for the Teachers

    Funded Jan 8, 2022

The Teachers pay Teachers gift cards and ink helped provide students with resources they have been able to use at home. Students have gotten additional opportunities to practice different their skills outside of the classroom. Everyone has enjoyed the activities while at stations.

Students are more engaged with the colorful activities. They are able to work on skills such as identifying initial sounds, rhyming, and the letter of the week. All students are able to practice their fluency while reading poems as well as identifying high frequency words. When it comes to writing, everyone has activities that help them at their level such as 2 and 3 syllable words. Students can also work on their grammar while building sentences.

Thank you for your continuous support. These new activities have been made possible due to your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adriana Osborne

  • Outdoor Fun

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Social distancing during recess was extremely difficult at first, but your support in funding this project made it possible for students to continue maintaining their distance throughout the school year regardless of the weather.

Students had their own recess materials to prevent the spread of germs. When it was time to go outside, students would take their own airplanes, chalk, Play-Doh, or seat. Seat choices provided students the ability to sit in various chairs on the many hard and abrasive floors.

With your support, students were able to stay socially distant resulting in healthy students throughout the year. Thank you for your continual support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adriana Osborne

Students benefited in so many ways from this project which was made possible with your support and generosity.

Students got so excited when the "chairs" arrived The lanyards promoted good habits and helped prevented the lose of student masks. The spread of germs was minimized by using the zipper bags and the plastic folders for individual student materials These storage tools helped to reduced the spread of germs in our classroom allowing students to attend classes and continue learning at school..

Your kindness and generosity allowed students to stay healthy and continue learning at school, helping them reach academic goals.”

  • Brightening Up

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

The new color printer was a big hit with students!

It has allowed me to provide students with bright and colorful activities that help promote learning. The eye-catching materials have kept students engaged and motivated while learning at their stations/centers. Students are excited to get one of these colorful activities. The pictures printed for science have allowed students to better see plant and animal details as we study and learn. Students are able to identify and describe the physical characteristics of many animals and plants as they read about them.

The ability to print in color has made a big difference in the materials I am now able to print for our class. The color printer helped contribute to the positive and print rich learning environment and content available to students in our classroom. We are so thankful for your support which made this all possible.”

  • Ten Frames

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

Thank you for your donation to our future engineers and mathematicians. Everyone was so excited to receive each of the math tools. They could not wait to see each tool at work.

The hundred mats have been helping them not only count but develop number sense as they locate and identify numbers more or less than a specific number. The foam and magnetic ten-frame sets and mats, colorful discs, frogs, ladybugs, leaves and other hands on tools have been used frequently to help count 1 to 1, add, subtract, compare, and solve word problems. The magnetic ten-frame answer boards have been useful to students for showing and proving their answers. The Giant Magnetic Number Bonds are helping as they continue to show the parts of a number when they compose and decompose numbers.

Having these great resources has motivated and encouraged students as math concepts and skills have been taught, learned, and applied. Your support has helped to close many of the learning academic gaps encountered.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adriana Osborne

  • Math and Writing

    Funded Aug 28, 2020

Thank you for supporting our class and helping to provide writing and math tools. Students were so excited when the materials started arriving.

The dry erase white boards and erasers have allowed students to practice writing their names and to communicate their thoughts and ideas. They enjoy using the white boards throughout the day and using their colorful counters in math. The counters have been used frequently when counting, joining, separating, and with word problems.

Students have benefited greatly from your generosity. I can not put into words how thankful our class is for your support in providing these wonderful tools for learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adriana Osborne

My kindergarten bilingual students do not have the same resources available to them at home that our school provides. Students are usually provided with hands-on learning activities and tools in the classroom at school. I want my kindergarten students to receive a solid academic foundation and these materials will allow them to develop phonemic awareness in literature and number sense in math. My kindergarten class will reach the same level of high achievement as previous kindergartners with the support. The magnetic dry erase boards will be used by students to practice writing and reading letters, words, sentences and numbers. The counters will be used for composIng and decomposing numbers, adding and subtracting, and to create sets.
