I am requesting an adjustable teaching table. Small group instruction isn’t only for our elementary students. Research has demonstrated that small group instruction is an integral part of the learning process, regardless of age. It is my hopes to purchase an instructional table to help deliver small group reading lessons within the classroom. Currently, my classroom does not have adequate furniture to help facilitate such instruction. Students will use this table to sit in small groups which also helps build working relationships amongst peers, as well as, teacher and student. I want for my students to feel comfortable working on teaching literacy goals and I know that providing them with an appropriate small setting is one way I can help with their success.
