Teaching virtually is challenging regardless of the resources available to the teacher or the classroom. However, it is significantly more challenging to run Zoom classrooms when only one screen is available to the teacher. Ideally, I want my classroom to be collaborative and goal-oriented. I want to accomplish this by using resources such as Nearpod, Schoology, and group projects. In order to accomplish this in an efficient manner, it would be amazing to be able to connect my laptop to an iPad. An iPad tops the list of best tablets for teachers on many lists across the internet. I can use it on Zoom calls to write out my steps for solving math problems via sharing my screen. I can use it to create interactive slide shows via Nearpod to engage my students. I can use it to annotate lesson plans, to solve district assessments, and to collate resources. I can download the Schoology app to be more available to my students. I can keep going with the myriad of ways the iPad would see use in my virtual classroom, but I'll stop here. My goal is to be the best possible teacher for my students. I think about what I can do to help them succeed and learn every day. I want to do right by them, so I am asking for your help in making me more efficient and available for my students. Thank you.
