Organization is a learned skill. Having notebooks and folders will help us keep things tidy and together. It will see the importance of being organized in other areas of their life as well. Learning how to write is essential to learning, so pencils and a large area to write and make mistakes is helpful to see our growth as we practice. Most of us learn best when we can be fully engaged, so hands-on can be critical in learning. Colors, markers, paper, all allow for creativity, critical thinking, discovery and fun.
