Many of these materials will be useful for students on-site. With limited space and movement, flexible seating like cushions and inflatable chairs will support students who need a break from sitting in your ordinary school chair. As students transition back to school from a hybrid or home-school, there is definitely a need to help them value learning and their feelings. As mentioned many of my students are from low-income housing or shelters, which makes it my priority to ensure a safe and organized place for my students to learn. The chill-zone cardboard will help students who need a little break to recollect and gather before coming back into their learning. The seat organizers will help students grow the necessary organization skills to help them thrive in their learning. Finally, having access to basic materials like crayons and dry-erase markers are crucial for student expression as well as needed tools to support them in individual work, center work, and even at-home work. The folders will be used to place at-home resources which students can refer to when completing homework. Students can use markers and crayons during math tasks, writing, art, science, social studies, and literacy work.
