• What? 2D Art, Math, and Steam With Pixels!

  What a wonderful gift you gave to our K-5 STEAM classroom. Students from Kindergarten to 5th grade use the 2D Pixel Art Mats. They learned about the importance of Pixels with technology and animation. Each group used the kit at their level and advanced as they worked on their designed. Students were so excited to bring their ideas to life. This was truly an amazing hands-on learning opportunity that I would not have been able to have done without your help. The older children expanded their learning from the hands-on with the 2D Pixel kits to the next week working on an App with Graphic Pixels. I am truly appreciative of your generosity and allowing my students to have such a wonderful concrete learning experience with Pixels.”

• Kolide Into Learning!

  How wonderful it was to hear all the giggles and laughs as my students tried to out smart each other as they used their magnetic knowledge to take on this wonderful game you provided for them. They were able to experience the magnetic poles in a fun and exciting way while learning about how the north and south poles work with placement. Many found the distance of bringing the magnets over the area for placement choice made a difference as well. They loved Kollide so much they begged me to played it again when they came back the next week for class.

  I want to thank you so much for thinking of us and giving my wonderful students the chance to experience learning about magnetic force in such a hands-on problem-solving way. They will never forget what they learned with the amount of fun they experienced in just a few minutes. We may have a classroom that speaks multiple languages but at the end of that day everyone understood the lesson being delivered with smiles on their faces and laughter in the air.”

• Creative Minds Exploring, Designing, and Engineering With LEGOS!

  Funded Aug 26, 2022

  This year I had to adopt an anchor from our State Standards. I decided to work with the entire standard of measurement and focus on angles. The BricQ Lego kit meets these standards perfectly while encouraging imagination. My students LOVE working with Legos to design, problem-solve, and use their critical thinking skills in a fun and exciting way. The Lego BricQ boxes managed to challenge students to go beyond the basics and broaden their abilities with their building skills while working actually "doing" a standard. This is true 3-D learning in action!

  My students were so excited to see a box of Legos! They could not believe this included sports with their creations. Once we began the builds we discussed the angles and physics in each creation they made. The best part they were able to play the games when the projects were completed.

  We will continue to use the BricQ Legos throughout the school year and for many years to come. Legos are a 3-D form of Learning and when you encourage this style of teaching students never forget what they experienced. My students will develop knowledge of physics, sports, measurement, creative thinking, problem-solving skills and team work through the use of these Lego BricQ Boxes.”

• Learning To Code With Botley!

  I want to thank you so much for the Botley Robots and constructions kits. The Botley Robots are teaching my students how to problem-solve and use critical thinking while they navigate through the obstacles given by Botley. Botley is enhancing their education with patterns, measurements, angles, coding and creative thinking through the fun of manipulating with robots.

  My students were extremely excited to learn how to use Botley and begin the new adventure of a robot that didn't need an IPAD. The excitement from the students when they realized they had choices on how they wanted to code was absolute satisfaction. When the students have the choice over how they want to learn makes a huge difference in education. Botley gives children the choice of using cards, puzzles pattern, or remote control for coding on how it moves.

  Kindergarten through Fifth Grade has had the wonderful opportunity to use Botley we will continue to use this Robot through the years and learn about critical state standards with fun and excitement. I am so humbled over your kind donations and I just want to let you know this grant will always be an asset to our school.”
