I teach 9th and 10th grade literature. The standard that my students have struggled the most with is reading and analyzing informational text. I think if students were provided with interesting material, their level of mastery will improve. When I have used Scholastic magazines in the past, my students were always excited to read them. My students are always eager to engage in the many activities and writing assignments that Scholastic has to offer. My students will be so excited to have access to a virtual magazine as well as a print copy.
