The masks, feathers, decorative objects will be used in a group setting or individually for students as an expressive art technique to reflect on and project their feelings and thoughts; or to represent an issue they are working on in therapy. We are currently in the process of creating a student "Wellness Room" and the pillows will be placed on the couch where the students sit and relax. Often students find it relaxing to stroke soft fluffy items which can remind them of their pets. The organizer bins will be used to help organize some of our art supplies. The India floor pillows will be used to help add bright colors to the wellness room and for students to sit on during group therapy or just to chill out. Other toys will be made available to use as fidget items to assist in relaxation.
