As an educator, I strive to provide my students with the best opportunities for aiding their education. Due to the coronavirus pandemic changing face to face classes to virtual, I believe this document camera will help to somewhat alleviate the need to be physically in a classroom. This document camera will allow students to follow along in real time. For example, as a sixth grade math teacher, I will be able to model math strategies while on online platforms such as zoom and google classroom. This document camera will also allow me to transform individual assignments into engaging assignments for the entire class, creating more discussion, interaction, as well as maintain students' attention. Lastly, this document camera will help me to remediate and differentiate my instruction for my diverse learners such as my visual learners by allowing them to examine small items, read text, and watch demonstrations, as well as interchange words into pictures to model and explain complex topics by placing manipulatives under the camera.
